The City of Hayward Library Commission advises the Hayward City Council on library policies including hours of service, library programs and services, capital improvements, fines and fees, Federal and State legislation affecting libraries, special services to persons with disabilities, publicity and promotion, location of service outlets, equipment needs, bilingual library programs, cooperation with other community agencies, and more.
The Commission meets monthly, typically on the second Monday at 6:30pm. Check the Library Commission webpage for more information and upcoming meeting dates and times.
